QMJHL Roundup: Drouin leads Mooseheads past Foreurs; Halifax ties series 2-2

VAL-D'OR, Que. - Jonathan Drouin scored twice and had three assists as the Halifax Mooseheads edged the Val-d'Or Foreurs 5-4 on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoff action.

Halifax's win ties their QMJHL semifinal at 2-2.

Philippe Gadoury had a goal and two assists for Halifax, while Andrew Ryan and Nikolaj Ehlers also scored. Kevin Darveau made 31 saves for the win.

Anthony Richard, Samuel Henley, Anthony Mantha and Jeremie Fraser replied for Val-d'Or. Antoine Bibeau stopped 33-of-38 shots in net for the Foreurs.

ARMADA 4 DRAKKAR 2

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Philippe Sanche and Samuel Tremblay scored 1:51 apart as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada sank the Baie-Comeau Drakkar to tie their series 2-2.

Marcus Hinds and Nikita Jevpalovs also had goals for the Armada, while Etienne Marcoux made 28 saves.

Alexandre Ranger and Denis Gorbunov responded for Baie-Comeau. Philippe Cadorette turned aside 18-of-22 shots.
