OHL Roundup: Battalion sweep Generals in Eastern Conference final

NORTH BAY, Ont. - Jamie Lewis scored the winner with 5:33 left to play as the North Bay Battalion edged the Oshawa Generals 3-2 on Wednesday to sweep their Ontario Hockey League playoff series.

Alex Henriksson and Marcus McIvor also scored as North Bay won the OHL's Eastern Conference final. Jake Smith made 31 saves for the win.

Dylan Smoskowitz and Michael Dal Colle supplied the offence for Oshawa, while Ken Appleby stopped 25 shots.

Henriksson scored on the power play as the Battalion went 1 for 2 with the man advantage. The Generals went 1 for 4 on the power play.

North Bay will play the winner of the OHL's Western Conference final between the Guelph Storm and Erie Otters. Guelph leads that series 3-1.
