OHL Roundup: Horvat leads Storm past Otters; Guelph take 1-0 series lead

GUELPH, Ont. - Ryan Horvat scored six minutes into the third period as the Guelph Storm edged the Erie Otters 5-4 on Thursday in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

The win gives Guelph a 1-0 lead in the OHL's Western Conference final.

Tyler Bertuzzi had a pair of goals for Guelph, while Jason Dickinson and Kerby Rychel also scored. Justin Nichols made 23 saves for the win.

Dickinson added a pair of assists for the Storm.

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect and Otters captain Connor Brown scored for Erie, as did Andre Burakovsky, Dylan Strome and Brendan Gaunce.

Devin Williams stopped 21-of-26 shots.
