TORONTO - A video game simulation has the Boston Bruins winning the Stanley Cup in six games against the San Jose Sharks.
The EA Sports simulation, using the made-in-Vancouver "NHL 14" game, has Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask winning the Conn Smythe Trophy with a goals-against average of 1.56 and .948 save percentage with four shutouts.
The defending champion Chicago Blackhawks' dream of a Stanley Cup repeat come to an end in the second round in a seven-game series with the upstart Colorado Avalanche.
The Bruins advance to the final by dispatching the Rangers, with Patrice Bergeron scoring the winner five minutes in overtime in Game 7.
