NEW YORK, N.Y. - Florida Panthers defenceman Ed Jovanovski was fined $5,000 by the NHL on Sunday for elbowing Columbus Blue Jackets forward Corey Tropp on Saturday night.

Quote of the Day

I just wanted to do something to take my mind off the shot and let me relax a little bit. It seemed like the fans liked it. I'm glad I was able to score.
