Buffalo Sabres recall Luke Adam from AHL Rochester to fill in for injured Marcus Foligno

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Luke Adam from the minors to fill in for injured Marcus Foligno.

Adam has a goal in 10 games with Buffalo in rejoining the Sabres for the third time this season. He is currently leading the Sabres' AHL affiliate in Rochester with 27 goals in 53 games.

The call-up comes with Buffalo (21-46-9) on a three-game road trip, playing at Detroit on Friday.

Foligno was hurt early into a 2-1 loss at St. Louis on Thursday. He is expected to miss the final week of the season.

Quote of the Day

It's pretty crazy, but believe me when I say we didn't draft these players with the mindset we had to because they had good hockey-playing dads. It just turned out that way. But we're certainly glad they're a part of our organization.
