Nilstorp with 24 saves as Stars spread out offence in 6-1 win over Bulldogs

CEDAR PARK, Texas - Christopher Nilstorp made 24 saves and six skaters on Texas recorded a multi-point game as the Stars toppled the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs 6-1 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

Patrik Nemeth, Hubert Labrie, Curtis McKenzie, Mike Hedden and Brendan Ranford each had a goal and an assist for the Stars (43-17-9), who are 7-0-1 in their last eight outings. Travis Morin tacked on two assists.

Matej Stransky added a single goal to round out the Texas offence.

Christian Thomas scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs (29-33-5) and Dustin Tokarski turned away 31-of-36 shots in defeat.

Texas went 1 for 3 on the power play while Hamilton failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
