NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Gabriel Landeskog scored two goals in regulation and then netted the winner in the shootout to lead the Colorado Avalanche to a 5-4 victory over the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night.

Cody McLeod and Nick Holden also for Colorado, which ended a three game losing streak.

With the shootout tied 1-1, Landeskog beat goalie Pekka Rinne with a wrist shot from the right side.

Josi scored the game's first goal at 3:33 of the opening period.

Quote of the Day

I remember the first time at Wrigley Field all of us had the long johns, the turtlenecks and the extra equipment because we were afraid of being cold. Halfway through the first period everybody's ripping everything off and we just ended up wearing what we would normally wear for a game at the United Center.
