MONCTON, N.B. - The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada scored three times in the final two minutes of the third period to defeat the host Moncton Wildcats 4-1 on Monday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoff action.
Danick Martel broke a 1-1 deadlock at 18:31 of the third for the Armada, who now lead the best-of-seven first-round match up 2-1, while Nikita Jevpalovs and Ryan Tesink added two more in the last minute of regulation time.
Philippe Sanche opened the scoring for Blainville-Boisbriand at 7:16 of the first period while Etienne Marcoux made 17 saves for the win.
Vladimir Tkachev responded for the Wildcats 12:53 into the third. Alex Dubeau stopped 31-of-34 shots in a losing cause.
