LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown left the game Saturday against the Florida Panthers with an upper-body injury, the team said.

Brown played four shifts in the second period, when he scored a goal, and did not return for the third period. The Kings were leading 3-0 against the Florida Panthers at Staples Center and went on to a 4-0 victory.

Brown scored his 13th goal of the season when he put the puck into an open net after Jarret Stoll hit the right post. Brown recently missed two games because of a lower-body injury and illness.
