Friday's clinching scenario: Bruins can become the first team to clinch playoff berth if they defeat Avs OR get one point vs. Avs AND Rangers lose in regulation to Jackets.

The Boston Bruins would become the first team to clinch a berth in the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs if they defeat the Colorado Avalanche in any fashion OR if they get one point against the Avalanche AND the New York Rangers lose in regulation to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
