WILKES BARRE, Pa. - Anton Zlobin scored twice and set up one more as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins downed the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs 5-1 on Friday in American Hockey League play.
Andrew Ebbett had a goal and an assist for the Penguins (31-20-8) while Brian Dumoulin and Chuck Kobasew each scored once.
Mike Blunden supplied the lone goal for the Bulldogs (25-29-5), who are on a four-game slide.
Peter Mannino made 26 saves for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Hamilton's Devan Dubnyk allowed four goals on 14 shots and was pulled at the 15:16 mark of the second period. Robert Mayer stopped 4-of-5 shots in relief.
Ebbett opened the scoring at 11:45 of the first period on a penalty shot and Zlobin made it 2-0 just over three minutes later.
Blunden scored late in the first before Wilkes-Barre/Scranton responded with three straight goals, including two in the second period 23 seconds apart.
The Penguins went 1 for 2 on the power play while the Bulldogs failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
