Canadiens' Gorges out four weeks after hand surgery
Montreal Canadiens defenseman Josh Gorges is expected to miss four weeks following hand surgery Monday.

Montreal Canadiens defenseman Josh Gorges underwent surgery Monday to repair a fracture in his left hand and is expected to miss about four weeks.

Gorges is second in the NHL with 173 blocked shots, trailing only Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Andrew MacDonald (203).

He has one goal, 13 points and a plus-7 rating while averaging 21:31 of ice time in 63 games this season.
