Jets sign Stuart to four-year contract extension
The Winnipeg Jets have signed defenseman Mark Stuart to a four-year, $10.5 million contract extension.

The Winnipeg Jets have signed defenseman Mark Stuart to a four-year, $10.5 million contract extension.

The 29-year-old has two goals and nine points in 50 games this season.

"He is what the Winnipeg Jets are about," Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff said of Stuart's character.

Stuart, the 21st pick in the 2003 NHL Draft by the Boston Bruins, has 21 goals and 68 points in 478 games for the Bruins, Atlanta Thrashers and Jets.
