TORONTO -- Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Ryan Murray left the game Monday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs with a lower-body injury and will not return.

Murray, 20, played 4:51 of the first period. His final shift of the game came with 1:47 remaining.

In his rookie season with the Blue Jackets, Murray has played 60 games and has three goals and 17 assists.

"I don't sense that it's serious," Columbus coach Todd Richards said after the game. "It might be something that keeps him out."

Columbus is also missing defenseman Fedor Tyutin, who is on injured reserve due to an ankle injury.
