NEW YORK -- NHL Revealed™: A Season Like No Other™ returns this week with an Olympic-themed two-hour episode that will give viewers an unprecedented look into the 2014 men's ice hockey Olympic competition. Debuting Thursday, Feb. 27 across North America (8:00 p.m. in Canada on CBC, 10:00 p.m. ET in the U.S. on NBCSN), NHL Revealed: A Season Like No Other takes fans to Sochi to tell the untold story behind the thrilling competition that was this year's Olympic hockey tournament. The double episode re-airs on Sportsnet on Sunday, Mar. 2 at 8:00 p.m. in Canada and on NHL Network-U.S. on Mar. 3 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

"Thursday's NHL Revealed takes NHL fans behind the scenes in a way that has never been done before at any Olympics," NHL Chief Operating Officer John Collins said. "We were able to capture a part of the Games most people don't get to see, bringing our fans closer to our best players while giving newcomers another reason to connect with the game. None of this would have been possible without our partners at NBC and CBC, the cooperation of the NHL Players' Association or the generosity of all of the national federations, particularly USA and Hockey Canada, who gave us unbelievable access."

In this groundbreaking episode, fans will see the NHL's stars exploring the Olympic Park, mic'ed up on the ice for practice and spending time with their families as they participate in this Olympic experience. Viewers also will travel inside the locker room with the Canadian team moments after they captured the Gold.

"What is so unique about this show is how we are able to see players who face off against each other in the NHL having to put their differences aside to become Olympic teammates," said Executive Producer Julie Bristow. "Now we are going to see the opposite as we continuing our shooting, Olympic teammates going up against each other once again in the NHL."

"For the past two weeks our crews have been all over Sochi, shooting non-stop, gathering hours upon hours of footage," said Executive Producer, Ross Greenburg. "We captured everything so our viewers could experience the Games in a whole new way -- through the eyes of the biggest stars in the NHL."
