Sharks' Couture ready to return: report
It appears San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture is ready to return when the team resumes its schedule on Thursday.

It appears San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture is ready to return when the team resumes its schedule on Thursday against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center.

Couture has missed the past 16 games after undergoing surgery on his right hand on Jan. 8. He sustained the injury in a game against the Los Angeles Kings on Dec. 19, but played through it for nearly three weeks.

"I'm ready to go in three or four days, whatever it is. Feels good as its felt in three months," Couture told CSNBayArea.com on Sunday.

Couture ranks fourth on the Sharks with 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) in 43 games.

Quote of the Day

I'm hoping Bob [Murray] didn't go out and get Dany Heatley just to get someone. I'm sure he's excited and motivated.
