Sabres terminate Omark's contract
The Buffalo Sabres terminated the contract of forward Linus Omark, the team announced Tuesday.

The Buffalo Sabres terminated the contract of forward Linus Omark, the team announced Tuesday.

Omark, acquired by Buffalo from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for a conditional sixth-round draft pick on Dec. 19, had two assists in 13 games with the Sabres.

The 27-year-old native of Overtornea, Sweden, has eight goals and 32 points in 79 NHL games with the Oilers and Sabres, along with 40 penalty minutes and a minus-27 rating.
