Team Canada beats Austria 6-0 at Sochi Olympics to improve to 2-0

SOCHI, Russia - Team Canada is 2-0 at the Sochi Olympics after a 6-0 win over Austria.

Jeff Carter had a hat trick for Canada while Drew Doughty, Shea Weber and Ryan Getzlaf also scored for Canada.

Roberto Luongo made 23 saves to get the shutout.

Canada opened the tournament with a 3-1 win over Norway on Thursday.

After a day off Saturday, Canada will close out the preliminary round Sunday against Finland.
