Sabres' Myers leaves game with lower-body injury
Buffalo Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers left the game Monday night against the Edmonton Oilers with a lower-body injury and will not return, the team announced.

BUFFALO -- Buffalo Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers left the game Monday night against the Edmonton Oilers with a lower-body injury and will not return, the team announced.

Myers' left his last shift with 4:27 to play in the second period and he did not come out with the Sabres for the start of the third period.

Myers played 14:15 through two periods and assisted on Steve Ott's power-play goal in the first period. Myers has played in 51 games this season and has six goals and nine assists.

"Little concerned, but no news is good news," Sabres interim coach Ted Nolan said after Buffalo suffered a 3-2 loss. "So we'll see what the doctors have to say."
