Myers' left his last shift with 4:27 to play in the second period and he did not come out with the Sabres for the start of the third period.

Myers played 14:15 through two periods and assisted on Steve Ott's power-play goal in the first period. Myers has played in 51 games this season and has six goals and nine assists.

"Little concerned, but no news is good news," Sabres interim coach Ted Nolan said after Buffalo suffered a 3-2 loss. "So we'll see what the doctors have to say."

Once again, it shows character in this dressing room. Once again, there's no quitting in here. We all wanted this so bad and we worked so hard to get home-ice advantage and we weren't going to let this one slide.
