Zach Pochiro ties game, scores in shootout as Cougars stun Raiders 6-5

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Zach Pochiro scored in regulation and again in the shootout as the Prince George Cougars edged the Prince Albert Raiders 6-5 in the lone Western Hockey League game Monday.

Pochiro forced extra time with the tying goal at 19:44 in the third period before scoring the only goal of the shootout.

Todd Fiddler had a pair of goals for the Cougars (19-26-7), with Marc McNulty and Troy Bourke adding singles.

Josh Morrissey, Dakota Conroy, Jayden Hart, Chance Braid and Darcy Zaharichuk had a goal apiece for the Raiders (23-23-3).

Prince George goaltender Ty Edmonds turned aside 30 shots, while at the other end of the ice Nick McBride did what he could with 42 saves.
