Kings-Ducks Stadium Series game sold out
Tickets for the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series game between the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings at Dodger Stadium are sold out.

Tickets for the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series game between the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings at Dodger Stadium are sold out, the League announced Saturday.

More than 54,000 fans are expected to be inside the historic baseball stadium Saturday night (9:30 ET, NBCSN, CBC, RDS2) to see the first regular season NHL game outdoors in the western United States.

Besides a hockey rink, the field will have a beach volleyball court and a street hockey rink, and players will enter through an avenue of palm trees as the League celebrates the growth of hockey in Southern California along with a nod to local traditions.

The teams played Thursday night at Honda Center in Anaheim, and the Ducks won 2-1 in an intense, physical contest befitting what has become one of the best rivalries in the League.

Anaheim leads the NHL with 81 points; Los Angeles is third in the Pacific Division with 64.

Quote of the Day

I was going nuts and I saw [Subban], he was going crazy, and the ref had no idea where to go. [Subban] was skating to me, and I was skating to him and the ref was right in between us and I don't know, I kind of hit him pretty hard, I thought, but those were some emotions and I'm pretty sure he understands that.
