Eight players ejected from Flames-Canucks game
The Flames and Canucks started their fourth lines Saturday, and all 10 players paired off as soon as the puck dropped.

The Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks combined for 10 fighting majors, eight game misconducts and 152 penalty minutes when a brawl broke out two seconds into their game Saturday night.

Each team started its fourth line, and the players paired off as soon as the puck dropped. All 10 skaters were assessed major penalties for fighting and eight were ejected. Calgary's Brian McGrattan and Vancouver's Tom Sestito received 10-minute misconducts.

The only minor penalty assessed was an extra roughing minor to Calgary's Kevin Westgarth.
