Jets' Clitsome has back surgery, out for season
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Grant Clitsome underwent season-ending back surgery Thursday. Clitsome last played on Dec. 17.

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Grant Clitsome underwent season-ending back surgery Thursday. Clitsome last played on Dec. 17.

The Jets announced that Clitsome had the surgery at the Marina Spine Center in Marina del Rey, Calif. The operation was performed by Dr. Robert Watkins, Sr.

Clitsome had 12 points and a minus-5 rating in 32 games this season. He has 67 points in 181 career NHL games.
