Canadiens recall defenceman Beaulieu, forward Nattinen from AHL Hamilton

MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens recalled forward Joonas Nattinen and defenceman Nathan Beaulieu from AHL Hamilton on Friday.

Beaulieu has four goals and 10 assists in 32 AHL games and had one assist in five games for Montreal this season.

The 23-year-old Nattinen has five goals and six assists in 37 games for the Bulldogs this season. He was picked in the third round of the 2009 draft by Montreal. He has yet to play an NHL game.

Quote of the Day

The groove of being behind a bench is going to be interesting at first, but thank God we have a few exhibition games to get rid of those cobwebs. Overall the excitement of it all and the freshness and coming back refreshed, all those things are going to be assets. If [the players] come ready to give their best effort in practice and games, good things are going to happen. I'm always looking for results. It's not always on the scoreboard. It's winning and building something.
