Josi scores shootout winner, Weber with goal, 2 assists, Predators top Flyers 4-3

PHILADELPHIA - Roman Josi scored the shootout winner to lift the Nashville Predators to a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night.

Josi beat Flyers goalie Steve Mason for the last of a combined five shootout goals to give the Predators the needed road win as they chase a playoff spot.

Shea Weber scored a go-ahead goal and had two assists in his first game against Philadelphia since the Flyers made him a $110 million, 14-year offer in the summer of 2012. The Predators matched the deal, keeping him in Nashville. They had to be glad they had their captain against the Flyers.

Weber snapped a tie game with a power-play goal early in the third period. Wayne Simmonds tied the game 3-all with a power-play goal with 1:24 left in regulation to send the game into OT.
