NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Dany Heatley had a goal and an assist, Darcy Kuemper made 23 saves for his first career shutout, and the Minnesota Wild beat the Nashville Predators 4-0 on Sunday night.

Jason Zucker and Matt Cooke also scored for Minnesota, which has won five of six.

Kuemper made five saves in the first, nine in the second, and nine in the third. The rookie's best save came with 2:17 left in the third period when he denied former Wild forward Matt Cullen from just outside of the crease on the right side.

The Predators have lost three in a row and six of their last seven.

Quote of the Day

He is, in my opinion, one of the best defensemen in the NHL and continuing to grow. I think his game, from an offensive standpoint, he continues to drive our offense... I think there's still tremendous upside for Oliver.
