Street scores winner as Heat edge Rampage to halt four-game slide

SAN ANTONIO - Ben Street scored 3:38 into overtime as the Abbotsford Heat edged the host San Antonio Rampage 3-2 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

Chad Billins and Josh Jooris also scored for the Heat (24-13-2), who halted a four-game slide.

Abbotsford's Joni Ortio turned away 31-of-33 shots for the victory.

Vincent Trocheck and Garret Wilson supplied the offence for the Rampage (13-20-4). Jacob Markstrom stopped 23 shots in a losing cause.

Wilson put San Antonio ahead 2-1 at 13:48 of the second period with his club's second power-play goal of the game.

The Rampage carried a one-goal lead into the third, but Jooris responded for Abbotsford at 10:47 to force extra time.

The Heat went 0 for 3 on the power play while the Rampage scored twice on four chances with the man advantage.
