TORONTO - The postponed NHL game between the Buffalo Sabres and Carolina Hurricanes from Tuesday night has been rescheduled for Feb. 25 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo.
The game, which will start at 7 p.m. ET, will be played on the final day of the 17-day break in the regular-season schedule to accommodate the Sochi Olympics.
The league consulted with the Sabres, Hurricanes and the NHL Players' Association on the rescheduled date.
The original game had to be rescheduled due to poor weather conditions in Buffalo caused by the recent winter storms plaguing much of North America.
