Columbus Blue Jackets regain Nathan Horton, Sergei Bobrovsky and Dalton Prout off injured list

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated forward Nathan Horton, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky and defenceman Dalton Prout off the injured list.

To make room, the club reassigned forward Jonathan Marchessault, defenceman Tim Erixon and goaltender Mike McKenna to its American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Mass.

Horton, a prized off-season free-agent signing, underwent shoulder surgery last summer. He has missed the first 40 games this season.

Bobrovsky, winner of last year's Vezina Trophy as the NHL's top goaltender, has been out since Dec. 3 with a strained groin. He has missed the last 12 games. He is 10-11-2 with a 2.72 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage this season.

Prout has missed the last six games with an upper body injury.

Quote of the Day

You know what? We've played in some pretty special buildings along this playoff run so far. You start in Detroit, you go to Montreal, you come here … I think it's the first team to beat three Original Six teams to get to the Final if I'm not mistaken. That says how tough the road has been. Those are tough places to win.
