PHILADELPHIA -- Minnesota Wild leading scorer Zach Parise, forced to sit out the Wild's 4-1 loss Monday against the Philadelphia Flyers with a lower-body injury, will be evaluated Tuesday, coach Mike Yeo said.
Parise has been playing through the injury for a few games, according to Yeo.
"The thing with Zach is he's been battling hard," the Wild coach said. "He's been battling through it the last few games. It was tough not having him in there tonight. He's been battling hard. We'll get it looked at [Tuesday].
Parise was not made available to the media after the game.
"Hopefully, it's not serious," Yeo said.
Parise is tied for the team lead with 27 points and his 15 goals are second to teammate Jason Pominville's 17. Pominville and Parise are the only players on the Wild with more than 10 goals.
