Jets get defenceman Zach Bogosian back, now look for win against Florida

WINNIPEG - Defenceman Zach Bogosian is returning to the Winnipeg Jets lineup as they try to find the spark that will lift them out of a slump that sees them and their playoff hopes sinking below the horizon in the Western Conference.

The Jets (15-16-5) have won only one of their last five and now sit last in the Central Division and 12th in the conference.

Bogosian has been out since mid November with what was believed to be a groin injury.

Coach Claude Noel says it's too early to say how many minutes he may see returning after such a lengthy layoff when the Jets face Florida.

But he has been a top-four defenceman and was averaging almost 23 minutes a game before he was sidelined.

He has four points in the 21 games he's played this season but is also a team-leading plus eight.
