BRANDON, Man. - Myles Bell scored twice, including 2:24 into overtime, as the Kelowna Rockets came from behind to defeat the host Brandon Wheat Kings 6-5 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.
The Rockets trailed 5-3 with less than a minute to play in the third period, but Ryan Olsen scored at 19:22 and Bell forced overtime with Kelowna's second goal 29 seconds later.
Zach Franko had a goal and two assists for the Rockets (25-3-2), who extended their win streak to nine games, while Rourke Chartier and Kris Schmidl each scored once.
Peter Quenneville had two goals and an assist for the Wheat Kings (17-14-3), while Rene Hunter, Colton Waltz and Tyler Coulter each had a goal and an assist.
Jackson Whistle made 26 saves for Kelowna as Brandon's Jordan Papirny kicked out 27-of-33 shots in a losing cause.

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Matt Needham scored once and set up three more as Kamloops doubled up the Raiders.
Dakota Conroy and Mackenze Stewart scored for Prince Albert (17-14-2), which lost its fifth game in a row.
Nick McBride stopped 24-of-27 shots for the Raiders.

SASKATOON — Braden Christoffer had two goals and an assist as Regina handed the Blades their eighth straight defeat.
Dryden Hunt, Connor Gay and Boston Leier each had a goal and an assist for the Pats
(18-13-2) while Dawson MacAuley made 33 saves for the win.
Nikita Scherbak led Saskatoon (10-22-3) with two goals and an assist and Collin Valcourt scored once.
Alex Moodie turned away 28-of-32 shots for the Blades.

EDMONTON — Henrik Samuelsson scored three goals to lead the Oil Kings over Lethbridge.
Cody Corbett, Lane Bauer, Mitchell Moroz, and Brett Pollock also scored for the Eastern Conference leading Oil Kings (22-9-1) while Reid Petryk and Aaron Irving picked up two assists apiece. Tristan Jarry made 26 saves.
Griffin Foulk, Reid Duke and Jamal Watson replied for the Hurricanes (5-26-4), who have dropped eight of their last 10.
Corbin Boes started the game for Lethbridge but was replaced by Teagan Sacher after allowing four goals on 20 shots through the first period. Sacher made 20 of 23 saves over 40 minutes of action.

CRANBROOK, B.C. — Patrik Bartosak made 35 saves and Brooks Maxwell had two goals and an assist as Red Deer blanked Kootenay.
Brady Gaudet and Conor Bleackley both had a goal and an assist for the Rebels (25-26-2).
Bleackley opened the scoring for Red Deer at 2:58 of the first period, and Maxwell's two goals put the visitors up 3-0 in the third period. Gaudet closed out the game with a short-handed, empty-net goal with 13 seconds to play.
Kootenay (17-16-2) goalie Mackenzie Skapski made 26 saves in the losing effort.

Jake Virtanen and Brady Brassart each scored twice for Calgary (20-7-5), which is 7-0-1 in its last eight outings, while Virtanen tacked on an assist for a three-point night. Greg Chase also chipped in with three assists.
Chad Labelle was a team-worst minus-4 for the Tigers (19-10-3).
Medicine Hat's Daniel Wapple allowed five goals on 29 shots before getting pulled late in the third period. Christopher Tai replaced Wapple and stopped 5-of-7 shots in six minutes of relief.

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Todd Fiddler scored the game's first goal and then added one more in the second period as Prince George toppled Tri-City.
Jansen Harkins and Klarc Wilson had a goal and an assist apiece for the Cougars (12-17-5) and Aaron Macklin added a single goal.
The Americans (17-14-3) got their loan goal from Connor Rankin.
Prince George's Ty Edmonds made 31 saves for the win as Tri-City's Eric Comrie turned aside 21-of-26 shots in defeat.

VANCOUVER — Jared Rathjen stopped 22 shots and Trent Lofthouse's goal at 9:04 of the second period stood up as the winner as the Giants downed Everett.
Austin Lotz made 33 saves for the Silvertips (21-8-4), which has dropped back-to-back contests.
The clubs combined for only 12 minutes in penalties and neither could score with the man advantage.

KENT, Wash. — Branden Troock scored twice, including the winner, as Seattle edged Portland for its eighth win in a row.
Troock opened the scoring in the first period and then broke a 2-2 tie with a power-play goal at 7:36 of the third. Justin Hickman also scored for the Thunderbirds (20-9-4).
Chase De Leo scored both goals for the Winterhawks (22-7-4).
Brendan Burke made 27 saves for Portland while Danny Mumaugh turned away 33 shots for Seattle.
