CLEVELAND - Defenceman Matt Hunwick scored the winner with a short-handed goal in the third period as the Lake Erie Monsters snapped Toronto's three-game winning streak, edging the Marlies 2-1 in American Hockey League action Thursday.
Troy Bodie's power-play goal at 19:01 of the first period gave Toronto (12-8-1) a 1-0 lead.
Bryan Lerg tied it for Lake Erie (11-9-1) with a power-play goal in the second period.
