Penguins lose Martin, Glass to injuries
Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Paul Martin and forward Tanner Glass will both be out of the lineup with injuries, coach Dan Bylsma announced Tuesday.

Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Paul Martin and forward Tanner Glass will both be out of the lineup with injuries, coach Dan Bylsma announced Tuesday.

Glass broke his hand blocking a shot by P.K. Subban of the Montreal Canadiens in a 3-2 loss Saturday. He will miss 3-4 weeks with the injury.

Martin sustained a lower-body injury during Pittsburgh's 4-3 overtime loss to the Boston Bruins Monday night. Bylsma did not reveal exactly when Martin sustained the injury, only that he is out and his status will be updated in the coming days.

In 23 games this season, Martin has two goals and 11 points. Glass has two goals and six points in 24 games.

These injuries come a day after Bylsma announced forward Beau Bennett underwent hand and wrist surgery and will miss 8-10 weeks.
