Featuring 16 teams representing 14 NHL franchises, the fourth annual USA Hockey Sled Classic enjoyed a record turnout as dozens of sled hockey players competed in three different divisions.

Presented by the NHL, the tournament saw the Buffalo Sabres edge the Dallas Stars 3-2 in a shootout in the A Division final and the Washington Capitals beat the New York Rangers 3-0 for the B Division title. The C Division was won by the Nashville Predators, who defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1 in the final.

Hosted from Nov. 21-24 in Pittsburgh at Consol Energy Center, Robert Morris University Island Sports Center and Blade Runners Ice Complex, the tournament was part of the third annual Come Play Hockey Month, a joint effort between the NHL and USA Hockey.

Quote of the Day

I was going nuts and I saw [Subban], he was going crazy, and the ref had no idea where to go. [Subban] was skating to me, and I was skating to him and the ref was right in between us and I don't know, I kind of hit him pretty hard, I thought, but those were some emotions and I'm pretty sure he understands that.
