Nashville Predators forward Patric Hornqvist left a game against the New York Rangers on Saturday in the first period with an upper-body injury.

Nashville Predators forward Patric Hornqvist left a game against the New York Rangers on Saturday night in the first period with an upper-body injury.

The Predators said via their Twitter account that he will not return.

Hornqvist played four shifts and saw 4:07 of ice time before leaving. He is tied for the team lead in goals with six and is third on the Predators with 13 points.
