Predators RW Patric Hornqvist knocked out of game vs. Rangers by injury, doesn't return

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Predators right wing Patric Hornqvist has been knocked out of Nashville's game against the New York Rangers with an upper-body injury.

The Predators say that Hornqvist won't return to the game on Saturday night.

Hornqvist played four shifts in the first period, with the last one ending at 13:06.

The 26-year-old forward entered the day tied for the Predators lead with six goals. He is third on the team with 23 points.

Quote of the Day

It's pretty crazy, but believe me when I say we didn't draft these players with the mindset we had to because they had good hockey-playing dads. It just turned out that way. But we're certainly glad they're a part of our organization.
