Elias Lindholm was recalled Friday by the Carolina Hurricanes from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Lindholm, the fifth pick of the 2013 NHL Draft, had been sent down Nov. 6, and in six games had one goal and two assists.

Prior to being sent down, the 18-year-old forward had one goal and one assist in 10 NHL games while averaging 11:39 of ice time per game.

To make room on the roster the Hurricanes sent forward Chris Terry to the AHL. He had no points and was minus-3 in 10 games.
