The Chicago Blackhawks recalled forward Jeremy Morin from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League on Wednesday, one day after forward Bryan Bickell suffered a lower-body injury during the first period of a 5-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche.

Morin earned two assists in six games with the Blackhawks from Oct. 25-Nov. 14; he has three goals and seven points in 21 career games with Chicago. The 22-year-old has six goals and 11 points in 10 AHL games with Rockford this season, and has 52 goals and 121 points in 168 career AHL games with the IceHogs.

It's hard to walk into that locker room and look those guys in the eye when they've played -- clearly, that was our best game we've played in the series -- and I thought we deserved a better fate tonight.
