Red Wings rookie D Danny DeKeyser hurts his left shoulder and leaves game against Predators

DETROIT - Detroit Red Wings defenceman Danny DeKeyser left Tuesday night's game against the Nashville Predators with an injured left shoulder and the team said he wouldn't return.

He was checked into the boards on his second shift early in the first period by Predators forward Patric Hornqvist.

DeKeyser entered the game with two goals and ranked among rookie leaders with seven assists.
