Senators to introduce NHL Heritage Classic jersey
The Ottawa Senators will officially unveil their NHL Heritage Classic jersey on Nov. 28.

The Ottawa Senators will officially unveil their NHL Heritage Classic jersey on Nov. 28. The Senators will wear the jersey when they play the Vancouver Canucks in the 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic on March 2 at BC Place in Vancouver.

The Heritage Classic will be the first NHL game held in a retractable-roof facility and just the third time a regular-season game will take place outdoors in Canada. In 2003, the Montreal Canadiens faced off against the Edmonton Oilers at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. In 2011, the Canadiens played the Calgary Flames at McMahon Stadium in Calgary.

Quote of the Day

It was a different game in the past, that's for sure. It's not exactly what I was expecting but I think the experience paid off for a lot of our guys that realized what it takes in a Game 7. Realistically the effort we put forward, we might not even had to put 60 [minutes], but we just couldn't get a couple bounces to go our way and we just kept pushing.
