Florida Panthers center Jesse Winchester will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety Friday for a hit on Boston Bruins center Chris Kelly Thursday night at TD Garden.

At 4:57 of the first period, Winchester delivered a hit on Kelly deep in the Boston zone. Kelly went to the dressing room briefly but returned to the game. No penalty was called on the play.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: elbowing. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.

Boston won the game, 4-1.
