Penguins coach Dan Bylsma did not have much to say about Dupuis' status after a 5-1 loss at Madison Square Garden.
"Not at this point, no," was all Bylsma said when asked if he had any updates on Dupuis.
Dupuis left with 3:51 remaining in the second period; his final shift came immediately after Ryan Callahan scored to put the Rangers up 4-1. At the end of the shift, Dupuis took Mats Zuccurello into the boards while on the backcheck before heading straight to the Pittsburgh bench.
In 16 games this season, Dupuis has two goals and 11 points. The 34-year-old has missed 13 games since the 2008-09 season.
