The Calgary Flames on Wednesday recalled Max Reinhart from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
Reinhart is second on the Heat in scoring with three goals and six assists for nine points and 12 penalty minutes in 13 games.
Reinhart, a third-round pick by the Flames (No. 64) in the 2010 NHL Draft, made his debut with the team last season. He had one goal and three points in 11 games.
Curtis Glencross did not finish Tuesday night's game against the Minnesota Wild and is returning to Calgary on Wednesday to be examined. Glencross entered the game on a four-game point-scoring streak (three goals, two assists) and two of his five goals on the season have been game-winners.
Reinhart's recall currently gives the Flames 13 healthy forwards with back-to-back games against the St. Louis Blues and Colorado Avalanche this week.
