Brennan scored his first goal in the second period, just 1:36 after Jesse Blacker snapped a 1-1 tie for Toronto.

Stefan Legein, on the power play, made it 4-1 for Toronto, before Benn Ferriero cut the margin with Utica skating with the man advantage at 18:54 of the second period.

Brennan added an insurance goal on the power play with his 10th goal of the season early in the third period.

Quote of the Day

Obviously there's a lot of expectations around me but it's something I try not to focus on. I'm just trying to go out there, be myself on the ice every day, try to get better, be myself around the guys in the locker room. I think that's what's made me successful and the person that I am.
