The 24-year-old has 20 career points and 86 career penalty minutes in 160 NHL games with the Florida Panthers and the Kings. He has also appeared in six NHL playoff games, collecting two penalty minutes.
The Strathmore, Alta., native was originally drafted by the Panthers in the first round, 10th overall, of the 2007 NHL Draft.
