Kings' Clifford fined for kneeing
Los Angeles Kings forward Kyle Clifford has been fined $2,756.41 for kneeing Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins in NHL Game No. 170 in Los Angeles on Sunday, October 27.

NEW YORK -- Los Angeles Kings forward Kyle Clifford has been fined $2,756.41, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for kneeing Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins in NHL Game No. 170 in Los Angeles on Sunday, October 27, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 7:41 of the first period. No penalty was assessed on the play.

The fine money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
