Dmitry Orlov has three points as Hershey Bears shut out St. John's IceCaps 4-0

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Dmitry Orlov scored and had two assists for the Hershey Bears in a 4-0 win over the St. John's IceCaps on Saturday night in American Hockey League action.

Bears goalie Philipp Grubauer recorded a 30-save shutout, but rarely looked tested.

Derek Whitmore, Peter LeBlanc, Orlov and Casey Wellman scored for the Bears (1-2-1).

LeBlanc came streaking in on a partial breakaway, beating IceCaps (2-3-1) goalie Eddie Pasquale high blocker at 5:32 in the first period to open the scoring.

Whitmore doubled the lead at the 4:52 mark of the second on the power play, beating Pasquale high with a wrister.

With 1:43 left in the second, Orlov pinched in on a 3-on-2 rush to finish a one-time slapshot and put Hershey up 3-0.

In the third, Wellman took advantage of a 2-on-1 rush to score on Pasquale five-hole.

Pasquale finished with 21 saves for St. John's.

The IceCaps went 0 for 5 on the power play. Hershey was 1 for 3 on the man advantage.
